Meet Billy
Billy is the founder of Urban Mattress. He opened his first mattress store at the age of 19 with $5,000 in cash and a heart full of dreams. That was 30 years ago. Today Urban Mattress has evolved into the go-to place for over the top quality, non-toxic mattresses, and raving fan customer service. Our goal is perfection. We're almost there. "I found the owner extremely trustworthy, I think the whole transaction took 15 minutes because I told him exactly what I wanted and the price range, and he took me to the exact bed that I needed. That kind of service requires a certain kind of knowledge, intuition, and artistry that can't be found in salespeople that have been in the industry for five months and work on commission."

Ken has been helping people at Urban Mattress since its early years. Ken is also our team Community Engagement Director, keeping our team aware and connected with the needs of our community. Ken is authentic and brilliant in the art of listening. Meet Eric
Eric was brought on to the Urban Mattress Denver/Boulder team as the store manager in 2016 after graduating with a degree in Business Management and working alongside other Urban Mattress team members in youth community outreach programs. Being native to Colorado, Eric brings a passion for the Boulder and Denver communities that encourages Urban Mattress to thrive in quality customer service and product development in a socially conscious way. Eric embodies the Urban Mattress mission of making choices all around that will have positive impacts on our communities, and the gift of leadership in helping customers make the right decision. “Eric has the gift of intuition, and that is so helpful with shopping for a product as important as a mattress. Alexa was around for the inception of Urban Mattress, though indirectly. Being the daughter of our founder Billy Williams, Alexa has seen Urban Mattress grow and change for the past 10 years. Urban Mattress is a local, family business and Alexa is passionate about the Boulder and Denver communities and the products we design. Not only because Urban Mattress products are superior in quality and comfort, but because they are a carefully crafted family trade. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in International Business and is an important visionary for our business. Madison studied Business Marketing at the University of Colorado and transitioned to become the head of our in-house creative team. Her passion to truly educate our customers on the value of excellent sleep shows in everything she does, and gives a voice to our company values and products. Daughter of the founder of Urban Mattress, the tradition, excellence, and warmth of Urban Mattress is ingrained in her, giving her the ability to communicate and inform authentically.
